I made grilled shrimps tonight, complete with butter garlic dip. Why? Because I was bored enough to actually undertake cooking something other than a turkey sandwich.
However, I remain utterly untalented compared to my sister, who made this cake yesterday:

Because everyone says wow about the shrimps, let me tell you a little story. I am in no way talented in cooking, evidence: last time I cooked shrimps I felt sick afterwards. Last night though, I didn’t feel sick afterwards.<br /><br />And I didn’t eat all of these shrimps by myself, I only had one skewer. The cake is indeed beautiful, but give me shrimp over cake any day! I’m already depressed by the thought that whatever I have for lunch today won’t compare to those shrimp…
