Give him a book. And make him believe that this book is divine. And any divergence will send him to hell. Keep reciting the lines over and over. But don’t forget it to recite it in a nice way that rhymes.

During this summer holiday, watching my young one spend hours watching TV and playing video games has prompted me to take 15-30 minutes out of my schedule and sit him down with a book.
I have him read aloud for me, he’s enjoying it thus far. I’ve also bought him a diary and I’m encouraging him to write in it every few days, about what he’s done over the weekend, swimming, amusement park, play dates with his cousin.
I don’t think I’ll ever censor what he wants to read, I’m very grateful that my parents weren’t control freaks regarding my reading material, and so I’m taking their lead. There is nothing in this world more valuable that learning and knowing, reading remains the number one source for that.
